Community Ministries

Children

Children's ministry (for infants through grade 4) is dedicated to leading children into the experience of the love of God and His Word.

For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

- Eph. 2:10

Our vision is two-fold:

To build spiritual champions—According to our 5C model, a spiritual champion knows God (Christ), is being formed in supportive and accountable community (Community), is forming (Character), knows that God has a purpose for them (Calling), and is building a strong foundation of ministry skills and biblical knowledge (Competencies).

To transform homes into family worship centers—God designed a process whereby the parents would be the primary builders and influencers of their own children.  Our focus is to foster this role in every way possible.  To have homes become centers of family worship, ministry centers, and places of salvation and healing for the child, parent, and even neighbors.

Children’s ministry takes place Sunday morning during both meetings, and Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m.

Life Groups

Life groups provide opportunity to connect with others on a deeper level outside of Sunday morning meetings. They are a wonderful place to grow in relationships, use and develop practical and spiritual gifts, learn from the scriptures and each other, bring a friend and share good food. Most groups meet every other week. Some meet on weekends and others on weeknights. Let us help you find a group that will work best for your life situation! For a complete list, click here.

Families

Family Ministry exists to encourage and strengthen families at Living Faith. This ministry encompasses all areas of the family—marriage relationships, pre-marital couples, parenting, family relationships, children and youth. A wide variety of beneficial resources are available: seminars, workshops, books, prayer, counseling, and mentoring. Our desire is to help families focus on and grow together in Christ, to become a stronger, healthier family unit to serve in His Kingdom.

Hispanic Ministries

The Hispanic Ministry provides for fellowship and outreach to members of the Hispanic cultures. The meetings are a place to worship, grow as healthy believers and bring friends and guests who have been invited during outreach ministry activities. Spanish is the primary language during our meetings although many participants are bilingual. We also welcome those who have a desire to learn Spanish and interact with the cultures our group represents.

We meet weekly, on Fridays at 6:00 p.m. at Living Faith for 1 ½ to 2 hours for worship and study of God’s Word in Spanish

Men's Ministry

The Men’s Ministry Team works to strengthen the relationships among the men of the church with God, each other and their families. Challenging, entertaining and spiritual events provide an environment to “gro with your bros”. Men’s breakfasts are held the first Saturday of each month. The Annual Souperman contest is a favorite for the whole family.

Women's Ministry

There are certain female situations in life that can be more effectively addressed by a woman, to a woman. Paul knew this when he wrote Titus chapter 2. He said let the women teach “good things” to other women. Living Faith has many women doing just that in multiple ways all the time. Gifts of hospitality and open hearts are always reaching out. “Women touching women” is our vision.

The women’s ministry encompasses weekly and bi-monthly prayer meetings, visitations, home Bible studies, retreats, fun fellowship events, meals for new moms, sick moms, families in crisis, counseling, mission trips to other nations, opportunities to teach and equip emerging young leaders in Living Faith’s ConneXion School, and multiple other ways to serve the body of Christ, depending on your desire and gifts.

Young Marrieds Ministry

The Young Marrieds group exists to provide a medium for young married people and their families to fellowship together in a variety of ways. Some of the things we do are large group events (trivia nights, picnics, sledding, etc.), worship nights, meals for new moms, and we are looking to expand things even more.

Youth Ministry

"SOLID" is the family-based youth ministry of Living Faith. The vision of family-based youth ministry is to harness the incredible motivation of parents and direct it toward solutions that will have a lasting spiritual impact on their children.

Our mission is two-fold:
1. To help our students grow to their full potential
2. To assist and encourage families in raising spiritual champions

We meet on Sunday nights at 6:30 p.m. in the LFF auditorium.
