Parent's Page

This page is intended for parents of children in any of Living Faith's children’s ministry programs. This includes: Infants, Toddlers, Little Warriors and Kings Kids ministries. Together, these ministries comprise the "Route 210" children's ministry at Living Faith. Our desire is to work with parents by providing resources and information that can help you build up your kid(s) into spiritual champions.

Our children's ministry programs will provide a monthly theme and corresponding tools for parents. You will have ideas, suggestions and character training opportunities for parents to use with their kids.

Parent Meetings

Please join us on Sunday, October 9, 2011 from 1230-130pm in the LFF Gym. Lunch will start at 1230. Childcare will be provided.

First Wednesdays and Events

First Wednesdays:

In an effort to continually be a valuable partner to the parent-child relationship, Living Faith will be hosting First Wednesday events for families. Our desire is to provide environments and opportunities to encourage and strengthen parents, teens and kids – the family in all of its expressions. The family context is the #1 training ground for raising up the next generations of spiritual champions!

During the 2011-2012 school year (Sept.-May), we will be hosting First Wednesday events for families. These will be opportunities on the first Wednesday of each month to strengthen family life through participation in a variety of focused learning and activities.

It is our prayer that First Wednesday events will be an encouragement and support to your family as we all strive for God’s highest in our lives!

Parent-to-Parent Prayers:
"Heavenly Father, our children are the very center of Your heart and You have entrusted to us the privilege and the responsibility to lead them into a relationship where You are the very center of theirs. Please help us to teach with our words and show with our actions who You are and how much You love our child(ren)."

"You have blessed us with a rich and abundant inheritance in our child(ren). We commit ourselves to invest into this inheritance as we look forward with great hope for all You have prepared for them. We also commit ourselves to Your word which encourages us to tell the next generation of the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, of His power, and of the wonders He has done." (Ps. 78:4)

Water Baptism Celebration

The Children and Youth Ministry Staff are excited to announce a Water Baptism Celebration, with an emphasis on baptism for our own children and youth who have asked Jesus into their hearts!

It is our hope that partnering with you as parents during key celebrations can be a great blessing and resource to your family! A water baptism celebration that is focused on our own children would be a great event for families to experience together within the church community. Invite your friends and extended family!

During the month of October, we will offer two Sunday morning options for this special event. Please save the date for either Sunday: October 16 or 23, 2011. We are very excited to host this celebration event!

Any Christian can baptize another Christian; we strongly encourage parents to baptize their own children! The pastoral team is always here to help as needed.
